The Vanilla Bean is one of the best venues around for the singer/songwriter. They provide the opportunity for acoustic musicians to perform in an intimate and welcoming setting before an audience that comes to listen. I love the gigs there as the featured performer. The evening was embellished by a brief performance by ilyaimy, an acoustic duo that hits the folk stage like a lightening strike. A great evening with an appreciative crowd. Kudos to Barry and Maria for their ongoing support of original music, and Bonnie and Shane for the great job they do running the show.. The Vanilla Bean--great food and music. Go there!
